Commentary For my transformation I chose Wilfred Owens poem Exposure. I chose this for my anchor text beca uptake I enjoyed Owens elevated use of lexis to appoint to the obscene weather conditions in the poem. I besides enjoyed how Owen underline the importance of time and waiting in the poem, finished this conceit I thought I could produce a perish transformation. I started my letter with the date however I did not make it limited because I wanted to portray that Owen has lost track of time and cant be sure what daytime it genuinely is. The first major office of the letter focuses on the sharpness of the weather and conditions that Owen faced in the trenches. In the beginning of the fourth carve up I described the revolt of the sun as the darkness turns to dawn, even though this should start forth hope for the soldiers in the trenches I used it to emphasises the sobriety of the ! situation Owen and his comrades were in. even though the sun has risen and it is meant to be a new day they still stand in that location in the trenches as nothing happens and the freeze to death, this further accentuating the inutility of war.
